Personal Management Skills

DESCRIPTION:
This course addresses skill sets critical to effective personal management skills. This course discusses the ability to effectively deal with stress, difficult people, sexual harassment, and manage individuals' time. The course is presented in two semesters.

Semester 1 is dedicated to personal/personnel issues including stress management, dealing with difficult people, and sexual harassment.

Semester 2 focuses on proven time management fundamentals and techniques. It discusses prioritization, definition of goals, task organization, determents to effective time management, and control of workloads, meetings, and time leaks.
