A Snap Shot of the Modern Learner

As a society we need to stop thinking that learning always takes place in a classroom.  Most young people today implement personal learning networks through social media, internet sites, and online collaboration tools.  The story linked below describes a typical young person and how they process information for their own learning.  However, most schools or social service agencies are not taking advantage of the concept of a personal learning network to maximize learning achievement for the youth they service.  Read the story here
